Schedule 1 – Draw Rules (Draw- Based Games).
These Rules for Draw-Based Games apply when You play any Carnival Lotto Draw-Based Game. Each Carnival Lotto Draw-Based Game also has its own Game Specific Rules that apply to that Draw-Based Game.

Back to Contents 1 Buying an entry
1.1. A Selection will not be entered into a Draw after the relevant Draw-Based Game has closed prior to the results being drawn.
1.2. Your Entry will be valid only if it is recorded on Carnival Lotto’s Computer System.
Back to Contents 2 Draws and winning numbers
2.1. Carnival Lotto will decide the time, frequency, date and method of the Draws for each Game. The time and date of when each Draw will take place will be published on the Site.
2.2. Each Draw will:
2.2.1. Select Winning Numbers at random from the Carnival Lotto platform; and
2.2.2. Be conducted in line with the Draw Procedures.
2.3. If a Draw is interrupted because of equipment failure or for any other reason, the Draw will be completed in line with the applicable Draw Procedures for that Game. If a Draw cannot take place on the date or at the time fixed, it will take place as soon as reasonably possible after that date.
2.4. If any Draw is declared invalid, a subsequent Draw will take place in line with the applicable Draw Procedures to determine the Winning Numbers. If a Draw is declared invalid, any Entry for such Draw will be valid for the subsequent Draw.
2.5. The numbers drawn mentioned in Paragraph 2.2.2 above will be the Winning Numbers for that Draw.
2.6. Carnival Lotto will only pay out on a claim for a Prize based on the official results of the relevant Draw recorded in line with Paragraph 2.5 above and electronically recorded in Carnival Lotto’s Computer System. Carnival Lotto will not pay out on a claim for a Prize based on results recorded anywhere else, including for example in newspapers, any online source, or on the Site.
2.7. Carnival Lotto will not be required to make any payment against any incorrectly announced number(s) at the Draw, and the witness as described in Paragraph 2.2.2 above will confirm the correct number(s).
Back to Contents 3 Winning combinations
3.1. The winning combinations for Draw-Based Game are as below:
3.2. By way of example, if 5 different Players each held one Winning Entry of 6 numbers that matched the 6 numbers in the Draw, each Player with a Winning Entry would receive the jackpot amount divided by 5.
3.3. In an instance where a Prize is shared between a number of Players, as per the example at Paragraph 3.2 above, it will be shared between the total number of Winning Entries and not the total number of Winning Entries which are claimed.
Back to Contents 4 Claiming a prize
4.1. You can claim only for the highest Prize tier Your Entry has won. You cannot claim a Prize for a lower Prize Tier, or any otherwise unclaimed Prize in that particular Draw or Prize pool.
4.2. Printed Play tickets/screenshot Play tickets cannot be used as evidence of an Entry or of the numbers selected for a Game, or used otherwise to claim a Prize, nor can a purchase confirmation made available to You (or sent to You) by Carnival Lotto be used under any circumstances as evidence that You are entitled to claim a Prize.

5.1. Carnival Lotto has the right to announce the closing date and time for a Draw-Based Game at any time. No Entries for that Draw-Based Game will be sold after the closing date and time. The closing date and time for the Draw-Based Game will be accessible on the Site.
5.2. Carnival Lotto has the right (at its absolute discretion) to suspend or withdraw any Draw-Based Game.
5.3. Subject to Paragraph 2.4 above, if You have bought an Entry for a Draw which is withdrawn, Carnival Lotto will credit Your Account with the amount paid to purchase the Entry in the Draw which was withdrawn.
Back to Contents 6 Defective entries
6.1. Where instructed by the Jersey government Carnival Lotto will, or Carnival Lotto may (in its absolute discretion), declare that a Draw-Based Game or Entry is defective. In these circumstances, all relevant Entries and all relevant Prizes won will be void and Carnival Lotto will reimburse to Your Account the Funds used to pay for the defective Entry.
6.2. You do not have the right to cancel an Entry and, subject to Paragraphs 5.3 and 6.1 above, no reimbursement of Funds used to purchase any Entry will be given in any circumstances.
Back to Contents 7 Syndicates
7.1. Carnival Lotto support syndicates.
7.2. Carnival Lotto does not create syndicates on behalf of Players. Joining a syndicate is the responsibility of the Player and Carnival Lotto takes no responsibility for the management of a syndicate(s). All management is undertaken by the person who created the syndicate (the “SyndicateOwner”).
7.3. Playing in a syndicate:
7.3.1. The Player who creates a syndicate is the Syndicate Owner.
7.3.2. The Syndicate Owner will set the amount of Funds which need to be contributed by a Player in order to join the syndicate.
7.3.3. The Syndicate Owner will invite Players to join the syndicate. A Syndicate owner can run multiple syndicates.
7.3.4. All Players are responsible for adding their Funds to the syndicate. If a Player joins a syndicate but does not transfer the required Funds the Player will not share in any Prizes the syndicate may win.
7.3.5. When a Draw-Based Game closes, the ability to enter the syndicate for that Draw-Based Game is also closed.
7.3.6. Any Player who has contributed Funds to the syndicate before the time and date on which the Draw-Based Game closes will be classed as a “SyndicateMember”.
7.3.7. The Syndicate Owner will be responsible of buying the Entries. The syndicate owner is responsible for distributing winnings.
7.3.8. When a syndicate wins a Draw-Based Game, the Prize will be shown in the syndicate balance. It is then the Syndicate Owner’s responsibility to claim the Prize in accordance with Section 6.
7.3.9. Once a Prize has been claimed by the Syndicate Owner and the claim for the Prize has been validated, the Prize will be distributed by the Syndicate Owner.
7.4. Carnival Lotto takes no responsibility for any disputes between Players in relation to a syndicate.
7.5. Carnival Lotto takes no responsibility for the opening or closing of a syndicate. This is the sole responsibility of the Syndicate Owner.
